The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hollister Co. (Fresno, CA) in Oct 2011
Interview
You go into the store to apply, and sign up for a group interview date. The interview lasts about 40-50 minutes, and the manager just goes around in a circle and asks everyone 4 or 5 questions (alternating people for similar questions). If you are hired, the manager will give you a call within 7 days. Be relaxed, be polite, and SHOW UP IN HOLLISTER (or Hollister-like style) CLOTHING.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hollister Co. (Milpitas, CA) in Sep 2010
Interview
I walked into the store and the application was processed on a computer that was provided in-store for the public. I got to choose my interview date. The interview consisted of myself, the store manager, and about four other girls. Everyone was dressed casually in jeans and button-up shirts including the manager. She asked basic questions that she read directly off of the paper and wrote down our answers word for word, which to me seemed like she wasn't entirely invested in what we had to say. Got a call the next day saying I got the job.
I also quit temporarily and re-applied a few months later. I had to reinterview and the second time was very similar, even with the same manager, except this time it consisted of only myself, the manager, and one other boy.
