Huawei Technologies Software Engineer interview questions

First interviewer told me this will be a strictly research position with AI and happily moved me to the second round. The second round was with someone in California who joined the interview 15 minutes late and refused to turn on their camera - but insisted I keep mine on. Then proceeded to ask me leetcode hard to medium questions saying this is normal. When I asked that this was supposed to be a research position he laughed and said "No no this is a complete software development position"...
