I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ING (Amsterdam) in Oct 2015
Interview
First round interview on Skype with two data scientists asking about background, motivation and specific knowledge. Second round consisted of a 1,5 hours programming session alongside one data scientist and a 30 minutes discussion with the manager. Toughest part was the programming session, where I felt I did not have enough time.

How would you identify the most "wealthy" account holders?
Firstly it was a test. Couple of months later I've had a call with manager and later with direct product owner. It has taken 2-3 weeks for final answer and enrollment.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ING (Bukarest, )
Interview
The interview process was smooth and well-structured, with technical questions that gradually increased in difficulty. This approach made the discussion feel comfortable, engaging, and gave me the chance to showcase my skills step by step.
The process had several rounds. It comprised an initial online tech assessment (some multiple choice questions and a sql and python exercise), HR chat, personality interview, case study and one final chat.
The case study was a take-home assignment to be discussed in an hour interview.
Overall they were professional and kind.
