I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed in Jul 2022
Interview
A month after applying, I received an HR interview request. Completed the interview when the Recruiter returned from vacation. Recruiter said hiring manager was on vacation but they'd like for me to speak to them. After emailing the recruiter back a few times, with no response; I can confirm I was ghosted. It's a little weird to be ghosted by Indeed as the recruiter made a point to mention how much they care about the job seeker and employee happiness. They could not be bothered to tell me they were no longer interested in my candidacy...

You are wasting your time with them. They are looking for SUPERMAN / SUPERCODER someone who can do multiple Medium - Hard questions within 45 minutes.
And absolute perfect (text book) explanation on Computer Science questions.
Will have better change with US Tech companies.
I have theory that they deliberately do that to outsider, just to say they are neutral in hiring, but actually they have particular non-skill / experience criteria.
Just turn them down.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed in Apr 2022
Interview
Initial interview (phone) w/ Referral Coordinator (HR).
2nd Interview with HR was quick & informative regarding what to expect in the next interview with manager & director.
3rd interview I was asked to present a case study (given 1 week to work on the assignment) and asked more specific qualification questions.
I felt very informed throughout the process, and felt everything was done in a timely manner!
