I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed (Tokio) in Apr 2021
Interview
HR phone screen + HW + video interview
Very unpleasantly aggressive people (HR, engineers, ...)
Can't imagine working with these people every day.
They could not speak Japanese so the interview was in English, but their English was also not good. Unfortunately, they were non-native speakers who thought that their English was good.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
something uninteresting that indicated the job itself would be boring
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Indeed in Aug 2022
Interview
Typical 15 minute HR Screener, then 1 hour Zoom call with the hiring manager. Knew it wouldn't be a fit when the guy spent 20 minutes pumping up Indeed and when he heard my kids in the background, made this face like like I just spit in his food.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were about how to design an analytics regime to evaluate a rudimentary user journey. What metrics would you look at, how would you evaluate success/failure, etc.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Indeed
Interview
We started by introducing ourselves to each other. It had an open-ended question related to strings was asked. The solution was discussed, and then I was asked to code the same.
