I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intact (Edmonton, AB) in Jun 2019
Interview
The first interview was an online interview (not live, but with scripted questions, and you just video record your responses to the questions on your phone or webcam) . After the online interview, was invited to attend an in-person group interview 2 weeks later. In addition, was asked complete an organizational psychology survey that took approximately half and hour to complete.
The second interview was a group interview (with 10 other applicants, and 4 managers). We where we were shown a presentation about the company and then were divided up and interviewed with 2 managers each.

Interview
The interview process was smooth and fairly easy! The interviewers made it very comfortable for me.
It started with a video interview. I applied online earlier in May and a week later, I got a video interview request online. You pre-record your answers and they give you 1-1.5 minutes to respond. You cannot re-do the video. I messed up here and there with the video but I still made it to the next stage. I was invited to an in-person interview about 11 days later. I got hired a week later and it was notified through phone call.
The in-person interview was good and smooth and I was interviewed by 2 people.

Interview
I got an email to do a video interview, then few days later I got another email to attend a hiring event. At the hiring event, we were about 15 in total, there was a presentation where they entice you with the perks of Intact and make you feel they were ready to hire you. After the presentation, each person is called out for an interview with two managers, after that I was told I will hear back in 2 weeks, but they never got back to me which I believe is very unprofessional. It’s common courtesy to let an applicant know if they’re hired or not, since I took time out of my day to attend the pointless hiring event.
