I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Chandler, AZ) in Feb 2012
Interview
I applied on line for several position but finally I got the email for site interview with out any phone interview.
I went to chandler, they payed everything, Airplane ticket, hotel, rent of car generously. I had 10:00 am interview by 4 different people 1:2 for two hours. Most of the question was behavioral question.
Technical question as a Mechanical engineering was so easy, such as : stress-strain relation, how does thermocouple work, three different kind of heart transfer (conduction, convention and radiation).
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Hillsboro, OR) in Mar 2012
Interview
I got a call from HR to setup a technical interview. Three days later I got a call from the engineering manager and it was mostly technical. He was very nice and asked me some basic questions on C and C++, linked-list basics, interrupt handling etc. Next day I got an email for setup of the onsite interview. They flew me out a week later.
Unfortunately the onsite interview was poorly planned as it was not very technical. All technical questions were very basic and largely trivia questions. I probably missed a few but that doesn't mean much any day. I had no opportunity for problem solving or any reasonable length of coding even on a whiteboard. It's their fault for not properly evaluating me or evaluating a candidate based largely on C/C++ trivia questions.
Not surprisingly I don't have an offer so far or even a rejection. I hate being kept in the dark.

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Santa Clara, CA) in Apr 2012
Interview
The interview process took up the whole day. There were four 1 on 1 interview sessions with the hiring managers where they asked behavioral style questions. there was also a case study where they gave me a sheet of data in which I was to interpret and make some calculations to support conclusions and suggestions. Overall it was a great interview experience, though it was intense and challenging.
