Questions asked on behavioral scenarios, how to handle difficult situations, a lots of technical questions. Questions on how manufacturing tools work, how to handle broken tools, root cause analysis - problem solving techniques....

Interview
I applied through university career fair.
Submitted resume.
Got a call at the university next day. Went in for a one-on-one 45 min interview. All HR questions.
They said they would let me know the result of this interview in a couple of weeks.
Heard nothing for over a month.
Emailed them.
Said my resume had been transferred to someone else.
This person called me for a short 45 min phone interview. Short discussion on my doctoral work.
Next day got invitation for interview at Intel Hillsboro Oregon.
All day interview. 9.45am to 5pm.
Went really well.
Did not get an offer.

Phone interview and then on site interview. 4 rounds, hiring manager was there through out. Difficult job profile. Keeps you on your toes all days of the week. expected to work 24x7.
