I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intuit in Jul 2023
Interview
I had a call with a recruiter and only the recruiter, she asked about my background and questions about my team building and work I have done. I answered direct and with extensive examples.
I felt the recruiter didn’t care she was late with the call. For the candidate experience I would have to say it wasn’t good. I felt she was going through the motions.
The Recruiter told me right away I didn’t have the right experience to do the job. I did thank the Recruiter for letting me know. I asked what I can do to become more proficient for the role. The Recruiters reply was “You would need on the job training for that”. Infound it strange that I have an MBA in Human Resources Management and 11 years of experience and I was a People Partners at Amazon.com. I feel I could have been a good fit for the role.
If this is how intuit does their hiring I believe they will miss out on key talent. If anyone has the same experience interviewing be thankful maybe it’s a good thing.
1 phone screen discuss with recruiter, 1 tech interview discuss with team member. Mainly iOS design pattern question, MVVM, MVC ect. One coding question about notification center. Not good not bad overall.
