I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (San Diego, CA)
Interview
The interview was pleasant but quick. Typical for contractors where focus is on the task at hand and not future opportunities down the road. When i brought up questions regarding growth oppurtunities i was told chances are many. i asked because at the time i was interviewing i wanted to be clear that the role i was recruited for was a role i saw myself doing at the moment, but not for an indefinite time, and that it was important for me to be able to know that i can grow and will be supported. I was told the opportunity definitely was there, but realized quickly that this was not as easy as it had sounded. Furthermore - the interviewers were not the ones who directly managed me on a day-today basis, which made it hard to relate back to my conversation during my interview with my actual day to day manager.

I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA)
Interview
I had a first round interview and they flew me up to Mountain View for my second round interview. Both were pretty similar and pretty short (about 1 hour). Both involved a case study and behavioral questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
I fast tracked from a phone interview to an in person interview with an employee referral. The in person interview was with 4 people, some calling in via video and the first 15 minutes they couldn’t get the technology to work.
Between interviews, we stopped for a break and they were 15+ minutes late getting me from the lobby. I had the receptionist call up because I think they forgot about me.
The interview felt as though they were trying to make me fail. I understand the need to drill down but it was overkill.
They left no time for my questions. I had quite a few.
The recruiter called me a few days later and I let her know that I would not be moving forward.
Also there was an “air” of ego and better than thou energy. I felt they were so high from all their accolades that they were not even open to what I had to bring. They were trying to make me fail.
Thank you so much for taking the time to interview with us and for providing us with feedback. We are sorry that your interview experience with Intuit was a negative one. Please email us at candidate_care@intuit.com if you'd like to provide any additional feedback. We wish you the best of luck.
