Phone interview with internal recruiter which was postponed the first time and then called late on the second .. then an interview with the hiring manager . Who thinks she know everyone who has worked with you according to your CV. She Was quite arrogant . The first 10 mins were all about her personal accomplishments in past role . Which I found strange ..to be honest she said nothing that you thought wow.. she did not give any clarity on the role and what success looks like in this role over the next 6 months . But she did say that she is always on hand to get beers on a Friday for the staff .really ?? ..
She then says the next step will be an Preso with a few of management and this is the best one we will get you to meet your team to see if there's a match . I mean come on this is not a blind date
then it's goes silent for 2 weeks . Only after I send an email for an update do they come back and say. Thanks for chasing this up but we have gone with someone internally. What is strange I asked them is there anyone who they feel is ready to move up in the existing business . To which they replied no
Look do your due diligence on the company it's actually a great company to work for . But feel that people let the business down
Looking back I would not have wasted nearly 5 hours on these people if I knew this was the process .
