Stage 3, do a case study on the current product and problem they are facing, as well as how to conceptualize a new product and bring that to market. This case study requires presenting to the hiring manager and a more technical senior member of the team. Step 4, meet with the hiring manager’s boss to discuss your background. Beware: you may go through this entire process only to be rejected with the response being no negative feedback, just “we’re thinking of changing this role and what we’re looking for” after you’ve done the entire interview process and given them your ideas in the case study for free.
