I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl (Exeter, England) in Nov 2021
Interview
2:1 with 1 mostly asking the questions. Less than 30 minutes and probably around 7-8 questions with only 1 scenario question. Was told I would here either the next day (Friday) or the Monday after, but heard back on the Thursday with a job offer when I had already accepted another job. If you are accepted you have to travel to a nearby warehouse to do induction at some point near the start of joining.

Interview
The interview process was fine. I had 2 interviews and bith felt okay. The questions were not particularly hard. At the time I was very flexible and had no other commitments which I think wokred in my favour.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Lidl (London, England) in Oct 2021
Interview
Very different experience to those mentioned on here, did the standard online scenario-based questions; received a telephone call four or five days later inviting me to attend a face-to-face interview, this was not a telephone interview, no questions were asked besides can you come on this date and time.
I was only given directions on where to go and got lost in the maze upstairs, and was left waiting in a corridor for over half an hour before the interviewer came looking for me. The interview itself was also very different, it was only with one person, the store's manager. Was not even an interview as much as an informal chat, I was asked to talk through my CV and then asked what I know about Lidl. The manager then talked about the role and explained that the store has a high turnover as new starters don't realise how hard a job it is.
No questions were asked, I was told I would find out by the end of the week if I was successful. Almost two weeks later I got a generic rejection e-mail, not quite sure how they manage to differenciate those whom are and aren't successful with no questions or criteria to set them apart. Good luck to them.
