I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at LinkedIn (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2017
Interview
I was referred to LinkedIn by a current employee. The recruiter wanted to schedule a 30-minute chat about the role. The role was in SF and the recruiter was in NY. This conversation was painful. She asked me the same questions that I would provide answers too and made it so clear she had a list of things to ask in front of her and was not even listening to my responses. You could tell I had to say her buzz words to make it to the next round, and I was sick of it. There was ZERO natural flow of conversation and felt so scripted and awkward. For me, this is a deal breaker, and I told her I was not interested in the position at the end of the interview. The first impression interview for a very qualified candidate should be treated as just as important as the last. You are setting the tone for the type of company you run. I've spoken to some amazing recruiters that actually know about the position they are interviewing for. This girl couldn't even answer some basic sales questions. No thanks.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at LinkedIn (São Paulo, ) in Mar 2014
Interview
It is more about your fit to the culture than anything else. Something really important is understanding abount their products which are not easy for somebody from different sector. There are videos on youtube to help you our because reading about it is not helpful. Something I've done is memoprize the benefits of each solution at least 3 benefits and that is it. Not really understanding which one serve for what exacly.

I applied online. I interviewed at LinkedIn (New York, NY) in May 2017
Interview
The recruiter told me I would need to present the LinkedIn core services for a prospective client, there was very little told to me in terms of when I asked her for more information. The recruiters were very concerned with my current pay at my current employer and I tried to be vague since I didn't get the job yet and there's no need to talk about salary requirements, and when I told her my requirements, she said that LinkedIn pays 20-25% less! I was surprised because this indicated that they do not pay well. $175K for AE is pretty low in my opinion especially with my experience. Also during my interview it was apparent that the Managers did not review my resume at all!
