Interview
Got an interview at Sunnyvale, CA. Well organized, consisted of 6 different modules: Recruiter Meeting, Incident Response and Management, Service Design and Architecture, Code Review and Analysis, Host Manager, Live Troubleshooting.
I failed miserably on all 6 and needless to say no offer (plus I got a cool down period of 3 years before I can apply to LinkedIn again).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During the Live Troubleshooting segment I was tasked with fixing the broken Apache HTTPD. After spending an half an hour trying to get to the problem I been told that the server must had an internal problem that I failed to pinpoint.
Overall it was a good interview process, the coding assesment was very good and had MCQ s as well as dsa questions . practice well and it's not hard to crack.

Interview
This is my experience about the first round of SRE intern hiring in linkedin which is done on hackerrank. Out of total 31 questions the exam had 3 coding questions 2 sql questions and rest were CN, OS and unix questions. Everything was easy and more emphasis was given on CN.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Bengaluru) in Aug 2021
Interview
Questions mostly on linux/unix. Two of OS related coding questions - included concepts of multithreading and semantics. Some MCQs were easy given you revised the concepts they put under requirements and the time limit was gracious.
