It was a lengthy process that took a few months with multiple interviews. But throughout the process, I remained in constant contact with my recruiter and still had an overall great experience. The process was broken down into a three phone interviews and a final round in-person or skype interview.

Interview
Applied through the university. Was able to bypass the initial phone screen due to my "qualifications" (however they told my friends this as well). One 45 minute interview for the first round. Two back to back 45 minute interviews for the second round. Was extended an offer a week later.
Allowed to pick between a few different teams interested in taking me on. Pay was above average, just had a more interesting offer in the city.

Applied online in Jan 2016 first week.
Got call after 2 days from the recruiter and she gave basic information about intern program and interview process. She also asked about my interest and resume.
Had total 3 phone interviews, among of them, two were technical with two interviewers each. So in total 4 interviewers asked me the question in two phone interviews.
