I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2015
Interview
Pros: The people I interviewed with were really nice and really excited about the company. They asked a lot of really good questions and really went in depth with my background and skills.
Cons: The process was long. Sometimes I wouldn't hear back from the recruiter in over a week and would have to follow up with them. This didn't happen once but at least three times. I accepted another offer since their process took longer than most companies.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at LinkedIn
Interview
Recruiter and the employee was nice, they were very straightforward, didn't give me much feedback during the interview process. They were not completely transparent about what the actual job consisted of. They didn't really explain what a sales position was, they more so focused on the company and how there were so many positive people at LinkedIn.
