I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Dublin, Dublin) in May 2022
Interview
First you receive an email from the recruiter advising that you have passed to the initial interview stage. The first stage is a call with the recruiter.
Following this, you are provided with an Excel test to complete, with a 45 minute time limit.
The recruiter will then advise if you passed the test and if you have been selected to go to the next stage.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Sunnyvale, CA) in Dec 2023
Interview
Total process took about 7 weeks and ended in early December. A recruiter reached out in the spring and kept in touch throughout the summer.
1. HackerRank Online Assessment: 2 easy/medium leetcode problems
2. Call with recruiter: talking a bit about yourself and also about the role. This seemed more like a formality since I was already familiar with my recruiter
3. Virtual Onsite Interview: 1 hour live technical interview followed by 1 hour live behavioral interview with different interviewers. Live technical interview was a BFS problem followed by a few questions depending on how much time was remaining in the hour. Behavioral interview focused on my experiences and how I would add to LinkedIn's company.
Most of the 7 weeks was spent waiting for the virtual onsite interview after scheduling it. The interview time was moved a few times due to layoffs and other reasons, but was overall a very smooth process.
Very straight forward but lasted over 3 months with about 5 interviews between. Process ended with one batch interview day where I was interviewed by around 5 different people including hiring manager.
