I applied online. I interviewed at LinkedIn in May 2021
Interview
Very fast and great comms between the interviews and recruiters, 3 stages and required to speak to various stakeholder from the business, All done at my convenience. Whole process took 2 weeks
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Dubai) in Nov 2022
Interview
Surprisingly quite unprofessional HR, pretty much going against all values the company claims. The interview process was quite disorganized, to say the least. First a call from a recruiter, then the HR manager, then a Zoom interview with the hiring manager, and finally a panel interview. After the panel interview was scheduled, I was called 2 minutes before the interview and HR requested a rescheduling., which was quite inconvenient. Then after the final interview, I received 3 emails apologizing for not getting back to me and promising feedback soon. Then I was completely ghosted and the HR stopped replying to any emails. After hours and hours of preparation, I didn't get any feedback from the HR. After a couple of month, I connected with the hiring manager who informed me that the position has been put on hold and there is a hiring freeze

Very straightforward. Just make sure you do your homework first and know what the company and team you are applying for are about. What is LinkedIn? What is their mission statement? What are the main responsibilities of your role? Focus on making sure that you make it clear that you understand the role, are looking for growth, and have done those duties prior.
