I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Singapur) in Jun 2022
Interview
Extremely poor experience.
Scheduled for an phone interview after the application submission. My phone was with me at least 15 minutes before the schedule, no one called so I emailed the HR personnel but no response. then after a week I got an auto reply email saying that they decide to move on to other candidates. Such an irresponsible HR and unrespectful act without a word of apology?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn in Jul 2022
Interview
Initial call from a recruiter who reached out to me on LinkedIn before the role was advertised widely.
Second call was with the team - the line manager and a peer.
Unfortunately, communication issues and a number of red flags during the call meant that I chose to withdraw from the process.
For example the peer repeatedly asked me to open software to share work live on the call - I have never been asked this before and explained that I can't share work due to NDA. I offered to share portfolio pieces later but they asked again, unbelievable!
Also another serious red flag was asking about high end technical questions regarding LMS admin - to be clear this is not in the job description and it rarely is for an ID. It sounded like they were looking for help with a current issue rather than interviewing me.
Both interviewers were disengaged and seemed disinterested during the interview. I think they already chose the candidates they preferred to move on with despite my background - 2yrs on a very similar project and role for a very similar organisation that is larger than LinkedIn.
I would advise to apply anyway and see for yourself if you can work with the team members you meet. Perhaps I was just unlucky!

Interview
It was amazing. I've always wanted to work at LinkedIn but this process further cemented it.
I applied on an off chance and scaled through to the final stage which was the case study. Unfortunately, while it came down to myself and another candidate, I did not get an offer and have been absolutely gutted about it.
Perhaps there will be another chance in the future because it has been the absolutely best interviewing process I have ever gone through.
