I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn in Jan 2022
Interview
1. Hackerrank OA, 75min, 2 questions. I used a O(n^2) algorithm for the first one and exceeded time limit for a test case but still managed to pass to the final virtual on site round.
(talked with the recruiter for 30min about the inter & interview)
2. virtual on-site, 1h probability&machine learning and 45min behavioral. Just finished, might come back and edit
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
OA: One longest interval with sum limit the other is string parsing and hashmap.
Probability technical: the classical Seattle raining problem, uniform sphere sampling from uniform distribution, expected number of times of two consecutive coin heads, logistic regression gradient descent from scratch coding
behavioral: talking about previous projects, what if disagree with supervisor, asking for help or solve by oneself.....
Okay! Recruiter was good. Interviewer was intimidating . Asked lot of vague questions about PM and did not try to make me feel comfortable. Felt grilled . Did not give insights into the team and kept asking questions
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2022
Interview
I was reached out to on LinkedIn by a recruiter and went through 4 rounds of interviews with the final step being a mock pitch. The process was a bit slow but understandable given it was happening around the holidays. I enjoyed talking to all the people I interviewed with and the recruiter was super helpful the entire time!
