Interview
Excellent process - I am really impressed. Claudia first called me and went through a phone interview - she is genuine and was very interested to hear more about my experience. She had went through my resume in detail before calling me, this made me feel comfortable as I didn't feel like a number. I then interviewed with the Senior Manager and that went great - he had solid questions and also made time for me to ask questions too. After that, interviewed with a member in his team that asked lots of solid questions about my experience and it's relevance to this role. He also gave me a great insight into LinkedIn - explained what a great team and company he works for. Everyone that I spoke showed that they had great personality and passion. Claudia continuously gave me feedback throughout the process. Overall - what an awesome company to work for, I am totally convinced of that due to the people that I met.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a difficult situation that you overcame in your team?
The whole process is tough, two code algorithms never seen in Leetcode or somewhere else. At last there was a System Design, all the projects I write on resume is about backend, however, during the design interview, the interviewer kept asking me questions about all kinds of frontend UI problem, I told him, I dont have much frontend experience, but he ignored it and kept asking questions. There was another engineer also participate the interview, but she was just a shadow, even she said may be we can skip this frontend part and ask some system scale related problem, but my interviewer still insisted on finishing all his fronend question...At last, left me around 10mins to talk about system scalability, availability, consistency, database, etc, but seems he was not interested at all!!
I totally doubt why I apply for bankend position, and ask a frontend engineer to interview me.

Interview
One Heckerrank Exercise, a phone syncing with a recruiter and two technical phone interviews. The interviews were not too hard as long as your choice algorithm and data structure is not fundamentally off. The interviewers are very nice and helpful and I really think LinkedIn is a very nice company
