I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Mountain View, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Very standard interview. I aced the interview question as the interviewers ran out of the questions. Eventually didn't get an offer because the projects I mentioned to one of the loops were too old according to the recruiter. YOU COULD'VE TOLD ME.

Question 1
Standard coding question. DO NOT DISCUSS PROJECTS THAT ARE TOO OLD.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2016
Interview
There was 4-5 stages to the interview process. Stage 1 - Phone Interview with the in-house recruiter, Stage 2 - Phone Interview with the hiring manager. Stage 3/4 - Face-to-Face interview with the hiring manager and an additional department manager as well as case study. Stage 5 (which happened on the same day as stage 3/4) - chat/ interview with 2 team members.
The case study was a presentation on the a business and their current performance with LinkedIn Marketing solutions. I was given 20 minutes to analyse and then discuss the performance and make suggestions on improvements.
The recruiter was very nice but slow to keep me updated and informed on my feedback, though this might have been down to the managers delaying the outcome.

Question 1
Tell us about a time when you had to deal with a difficult stakeholder?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Mountain View, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
There were four steps; the first was an informal phone interview with the recruiter. The second was a phone conversation with two of LinkedIn's developers. The third was an online collaboration effort where the interviewer asked me a few code-related questions and I had to solve it in real-time as they watched me code. The fourth interview they flew me out to their offices in California where I did a full-day interview. This consisted of code questions where I had to solve the problems on a white board. We took a break for lunch and then finished with an interview with one of their managers.
