Recruiter screen was fairly standard.
The technical interview was really strange. The interviewer seemed really uncomfortable and refused to let me run my code. He wanted me to work through the entire interview in my head even though I was writing code in coderpad (a fully functional IDE).
At one point he asked if I thought my code would work and I said "I could try running it to know for sure" and he angrily yelled "YOU CANNOT RUN YOUR CODE".
Despite this I calmly and positively continued on with the interview. I was not moved on to the next round even though I answered all of the algo questions and verbally walked through each of his examples proving that my code would produce the correct result.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2020
