LinkedIn Site Reliability Engineer interview questions

Got the email from the HR for initial HR round . Unexpectedly the HR asked me some technical questions on linux commands and Data structure . At the end of the phone call ,He replied me that ,he is going to schedule the second round of telephonic interview . The second round is technical phone round (1 hour) and need to code on coder pad . The interviewer asked me two questions . First one is very straight forward and the second one on recursion . After the interview did not get any reply more than 2 week . Then sent email to HR regarding the feed back . Looks like they completely forget. HR called me directly and said that they are not proceeding further with me .

They have a pretty wonderful interview process. There were two rounds of phone screening. First one was coding round, where in you have to code on coderpad with your screen shared to the interviewer. 3 basic questions, about half an hour time. Second telephonic round is operational round. Which consisted of questions about DNS resolving, SSL etc. After clearing that they called me to Bangalore for the in-person interview. HR explained me and sent a document which contained the list of rounds I'll be giving at the office (Flight tickets , accommodation, cabs in Bangalore provided ) There were five rounds 1. Incident and response management. 2. Code Review 3. Design and Architecture 4. Host Mgr Round 5. Live Troubleshooting round The questions and exercises were well designed and the process was really fast. Really liked the process and the way they respond.
