I applied online. I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group
Interview
The interview lasted about 30 min.
I was asked to talk about myself, then what I knew regarding the position I was applying for. More questions related to situations I had asked in previous jobs and how I reacted in those situations.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group (London, England) in Nov 2019
Interview
I applied online through their careers portal. About a month later, I received a hackerrank invite. Nothing from a human, just an invite. I took the test. It's not really data science questions but general computer science - pretty easy test compared to others. I then received no response months, where I received three emails in close succession. The first told me I was rejected, the second told me I was being invited to apply for a new role of data scientist, and the third told me my application was being considered and I should be hearing soon. The email address they send emails from is a DoNotReply address and they don't provide any way to contact them to understand where your application is. The large gaps with no contact, followed by barrages of automated emails has been quite difficult to interpret. It's disappointing when you spend time preparing for tests and completing them to not even have a conversation with a human.
