Interview
I applied online and completed the online test. The second stage is an online interview, with about 9 questions, have to answer within a time limit. The process went well, and the questions are strength-based, but was quite standard.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group (London, England) in Apr 2015
Interview
Phone interview, then face-to-face.
Phone interview:
-Show evidence of research on company
- Why you want the role
- Evidence of teamwork
Face-to-face:
- Technical test, excel; nothing too technical more about showing comprehension of a detailed report
- Cultural fit q's
- Coding knowledge was quizzed but didn't seem essential
- There was both the hiring manager and another manager
- No HR presence
- On-site
- Lasted less than 1 hour
- Heard back within 24 hours
Would mention that after accepting the role the paperwork was onerous. Truly time-consuming. The detail of evidence required was incredibly high. I'd worked for another UK retail bank previously but had a totally different experience. Overall still a very worthwhile company to join.
