I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Mobile, AL) in Oct 2016
Interview
Applied online to Lowe's, which has a fairly good careers website to apply. I was emailed to schedule an interview and went in person to the store a few days later. Met with my potential boss and had a good interview and conversation, lasting about 20 minutes. I was asked about my previous retail/job experience, which I had no retail experience at the time, and therefore detailed how I could apply my character and would learn quickly. Was hired as a Customer Service Associate for the Lumber/Building Materials department.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Radford, VA) in Mar 2017
Interview
Interview was conducted by one person that asked you maybe 5-10 situational questions. Questions could be answered based on previous employment experience or school situations. Drug test is conducted afterwards if position is offered. When I was hired drug test was by spit, but policy has now changed to a urine test. Background check was prompt.
