I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Milwaukie, OR) in Mar 2015
Interview
Set the meeting, you come in, and they ask you about prior experience. Pretty easy. Ask you questions which determine your fit and then offer you the job. Was easy enough. Then they ask you to give your saliva for a drug test if you do accept, and then you are on your way after.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Hackettstown, NJ) in Sep 2015
Interview
The interview process was relatively relaxed. During our conversation, we swapped a few stories and I noted that he conveyed a dedication to customer service... which I found impressive. Most of the employees seemed upbeat, and one whom I spoke to in the store on the day I returned for my drug test said she had been there for a year and thought the environment was considerably better than a lot of the places she had worked for in the past
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I interviewed with an ASM who asked the basic "tell me about a time" questions and wrote the details of my response on a form.
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement in Aug 2012
Interview
The process was rather scripted. Even though I was already employed there, the interview process wasn't based on my skills or accomplishments, but how I answered the scripted interview questions. I was applying for a different position in the workplace, and got turned down at first, but got the job when the other person backed out.
