I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement in Feb 2010
Interview
Interviewed with HR person and then a Zone Manager and finally with the store manager. The HR and Zone Manager asked a series of predetermined behavioral interview questions. Be prepared to answer a series of "tell me of a time" questions based upon your prior experience. Don't try to bluff your way through because with behavioral questions it's pretty obvious when you can't answer the question.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement in Jun 2008
Interview
Got a phone call to meet with the HR Manager. Short interview, general questions. Took a skills test that was very simple and of course a drug test. 3 days later met with zone manager and had a short general question interview. Then last interview was with store manager.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement in Jan 2010
Interview
I initially applied to Lowe's online and got no response. I was informed that applying at the actual site "employment application computer" was preferable to applying through the main website, so I did that and got no response. I visited the store and was told that a manager would contact me to let me know the status _ no one did. I tried again about 6 months later after discovering a couple of people from my church worked there. I reapplied using one of my church members as an employee referral and I was interviewed and hired within a month.
