I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (New York, NY) in Nov 2011
Interview
I applied online on the Macy's website. Within 2 days I received an email back stating that they wanted to meet me and to schedule an appointment to come in. The day of the innterview I was really nervous. When I was finally called in I just wanted the whole thing to be over. The interviewer asked me a few questions. The interview took about 15-20 minutes. I was then told that I could have a seat back out in the waiting area with the other prospective job seekers. It seemed like 2 hours before I was called back in and offered a position as a support associate in recovery.

Interview
I applied online and received an email requesting that I schedule an interview. I met with a sales manager who told me that they were not currently hiring. I received a call a few days later asking me to come in for another interview where I met with the store manager. Just a couple days later I met with another sales manager that offered me the position.

Interview
applied online, received an email to schedule an interview about 4 days later. i scheduled my appointment for 11:00 and sat down with a very nice lady. she asked me questions, though, that weren't on this website at all, and i wasn't prepared for any of them. i had to think very hard about a lot of the questions. she was very nice, though, and i hope i get it. note to college students: if you're home for the summer i wouldn't bother applying for this job. they want someone long term and i feel i botched the interview by saying that i'm home for the summer.
