I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (Sheffield, England) in May 2013
Interview
There were 2 women interviewing, both were very nice. I was given laminated sheets to look at to 'prep' for the role play, my one was to do with beachwear and selling extra holiday items and only took around 5 minutes. Afterwards I was interviewed by the manager and the questions were all pretty standard, as long as you knew some facts about the company and explained why you would be good for the role in detail you would be fine! I got the job and accepted.

Interview
Very chilled out interview with a few questions about simple stuff like what you would do in a confrontational event. Really nice interviewer, felt more like a chat than an interview.

I applied online. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (Glasgow, Schottland) in Jun 2026
Interview
The interview lasted about 40 minutes, with a lot of questions about how you have handled situations previously and why you are a good candidate for them. Overall, an average interview just come prepared with the latest news and up to date product knowledge of the company.
