I applied online. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (York, England) in Sep 2014
Interview
The interview process I went through is composed of two parts; the on-line selection process and the face to face interview. During the on-line selection process you need to complete a series of questions about your attitudes towards customers and your view of the job and the company. The second part deals with a face to face interview where you re asked to talk about you and your previous experiences and also to act in order to reproduce a scenario where you interact with a fake customer (Your interviewer). Obviously the face to face interview takes place at the actual store where you are supposed to work and it follows the on-line part, which means that, according to the answers you gave during that part you might or might not selected for the next step. I have found the whole process reasonable, clear, and fair. I received a job offer for a Christmas job.

Question 1
The most relevant bit of the interview concerns the role playing activity; this means that, it is not really about the actual answers the interviewee gives, but it is more about its performance as a perspective customer assistant.

Interview
Very chilled out interview with a few questions about simple stuff like what you would do in a confrontational event. Really nice interviewer, felt more like a chat than an interview.

Interview
The interview lasted about 40 minutes, with a lot of questions about how you have handled situations previously and why you are a good candidate for them. Overall, an average interview just come prepared with the latest news and up to date product knowledge of the company.

Interview
Very relaxed, asked about 4 questions, generic ones like tell me about yourself. Then asked more skills based ones, like a time you worked well under pressure. But overall good
