I applied online. I interviewed at Medtronic (Northridge, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
There was the standard phone interview with the hiring manager and then two rounds of in person interviews.
The second in person interview was an all day event with a number of cross functional people, a lunch, and then I gave a presentation on a given topic which I prepared for prior to the meeting.
The whole process was very disorganized. For the final round, I was supposed to be given a week of the final meeting date and presentation topic; however, the admin called me the day before and forced me to schedule the meeting for the next day. I was employed and unable to start preparing until 11PM that night. As expected, my presentation was not strong given the short time period to prepare. I later learned the other candidate was given a week to prepare and consequently gave a strong presentation.
It was confirmed by one of the employees that the admin was leaving the company soon and had checked out so had forgotten to schedule the meeting for me, giving me disadvantage on time to prepare.
A number of the team members were unfriendly and one person made me feel uncomfortable as there was clear flirtation involved in the conversation.
I do not recommend the diabetes team (IIM - Intensive Insulin Management) team to anyone.

Interview
Applied through the MDT job posting site. I received an email from HR recruiter/scheduling assistant asking for dates and times when I would be able to talk to the manager.
