I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Medtronic (Sydney) in Aug 2019
Interview
Had an initial phone screening interviewed which was fairly straightforward. The job itself I had extensive experience coming from a Medical Device and Pharmaceutical background, as a Marketing Coordinator. I was asked to meet for an interview at the office, in which HR advised they would email me through all the information, in which they wanted me to read up on. I waited a few days for this which it never arrived, so got in contact with them prior to interview. The day before the interview I still hadn’t received the information. I then got in contact with them the morning of the interview to discover HR had sent to wrong email address, so the morning of interview there was all this pre reading information I had to read through which was all rushed.
Interview was conducted in this semi open area of the building where you would have people walking by and could easily hear the conversation. I found this extremely distracting. I didn’t get a good vibe by the people were interviewing me and thought no I would not enjoy working with these people being my co workers. I don’t know just they displayed that they thought they were highly superior to me. At the interview they mentioned this was a 1 year contact role. I had no knowledge of this as it was advertised as a permanent position, false advertising! Had I known this, I would never had applied. After hearing this, I kind of gave up in the interview. Icing on the cake was seeing a rat running outside the window! I left the interview knowing I wouldn’t get the job, which was a good thing. Never heard back from them at all. No email, ( probably sent to wrong email address) Just overall a very unprofessional way of hiring a person. A waste of my time, having to use up a annual day leave for myself to attend.

Interview
Good, but they give a response to the job after 3-4 weeks. Basic interview stuff, and then job info. The interview was two hours long, with the general manager, the group, the manager of the operation, and some other specific employee.
