Interview
Recruiter contact me for this role even if I had not applied for this one. I had applied via their website. Then within 1 week there was a phone interview scheduled. I found the hiring managers very discriminatory in the way they handled the call. They made me feel like I was an idiot, not a nice feeling when you have worked hard for your degree and proved yourself in your work area. I felt like they did not give me a chance to explain myself and had prejudices about my background. They stopped the interview after not even 10 minutes. I would not recommend
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Medtronic (Bengaluru) in Sep 2017
Interview
I applied online and then recruiter and scheduled a telephonic interview.
JD was of build-release engineer - one requirement was knowledge of CI tools like Jenkins.
But the interviewer was interested in only Jenkins knowledge.
I had already cleared about Jenkins with the recruiter - that i have experience in other CI tools like CruiseControl but in Jenkins.
He asked questions in shell scripting and perforce - i could answer almost all of his questions.
On Jenkins skill, i re-iterated that i have no experience in Jenkins but i have worked on other CI tools.
I think they should clearly mention in the JD that they are looking for only those candidates with "Jenkins" experience rather than writing "knowledge in CI tools".

Interview
One of the most weirdest experiences so far.I get a call in September for a position I applied in May. Phone call on Monday from the program Manager and face to face interview week later.Out of seven people set to interview me First one was HR who was 20 mins late to a 30 mins interview (online). out of next five 3 were online again.Last guy who was supposed to interview me never showed up.
Every interviewee asked the same 3 questions about situations I may have faced.Same questions over and over again. Some were nice enough to fill a form take notes but other dint even bother. For a senior position I expected atleast few Technical Questions, after all it was a tech role.
After a month of followup after the interview ,I get a copy paste of an automated Email.
If giving feedback is difficult ,please contact the candidate and convey the rejection .Very unprofessional of the hiring team to ignore Emails and phone call and sending an automated mail.
