I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Medtronic in Aug 2017
Interview
This was the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had in interviewing. They asked for a presentation on their products without any background, training, or ability to ask questions. They sent over the most unorganized prep package with disassemble paragraphs and font, mis-aligned bullet points that were all over the place. It took days to sift through and attempt to figure out. It required me to actually re-write so I could make sense of it. They literally expected mind reading (see interview question below). The position has been open forever. The manager in place lets one of her direct reports run the show. You can definitely tell they have no clue how to build this team. Medtronic corporate should know that this team is effectively giving the brand a bad name. I still haven’t received my expense reimbursement.

Tell us how you would fill a gap that we have on our team?
Spoke with them at a career fair, then applied online. The online application was the standard resume, cover letter, and diversity questions. Was asked to do an on campus interview, but did not move forward. The interview had a mix of behavioral and technical questions.
