I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Medtronic
Interview
Was brought through a phone interview about 2 weeks after applying that went very well and was brought in for an in person interview. Talked with many people during my visit and it seemed to be going well and they kept wanting to show me more. When the interview/visit finally ended I was very enthusiatically told that i would be recieving a call before the end of the week. I never recieved a call and all follow up communications (through email) were met with either no resposne or with aloof sense of not knowing who would be making those decisions. 2 months later the application online shows the postiion as filled without ever being told there would not be an offer.

Question 1
One odd questions seemed to suggest that this job would be great to get some expereince and leave the company. They seemed to want me to answer that I only wanted to use the job for experience.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Medtronic (Minneapolis, MN) in Jun 2016
Interview
Long and drawn out. After application it was difficult to know what the status of the position was. The communication between talent aquisition and the local hiring area didn't always seem aligned.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Medtronic (San Antonio, TX) in Jul 2016
Interview
Contacted by recruiter to set up first interview with hiring manager. General questions about background, experience, education, etc. Asked some of the standard HR-mandated behavioral questions. 2nd interview was set with Sr. Manager a few weeks later. Accepted job offer about 2-3 weeks after that. Great company to work for, just be prepared for a long and delayed process. If you're unemployed and urgently need to start working again, you may not get quick results. Frustrating if another offer comes through that you have to either delay or turn down.
