A person from human resources called me. When I returned the call my resume wasn't in front of him. I was asked about my experience in medical sales, what college I attended and what degree I had. I was told my resume was being passed to the manager in the territory. It was up to her if she wanted to set up an interview. I never heard from the manager in the territory.

Interview
A recruiter from Medtronic contacted me through LinkedIn. I read about the position that was available. The recruiter set up web ex for me. Then I had a telephone interview with someone from IT. Person interviewing was very nice. At one point our call was cut off. I apologized when I called back, but he seemed unfazed.
Phone interview had to be rescheduled last minute to fit the recruiters schedule. Then she showed up 10 minutes late.. I was basically told how wonderful of a fit I was for the position then told to call her next week if I don't hear back because she is a busy person... unprofessional much?
I called and emailed when I never heard back and the recruiter never responded. My friend applied for a similar role and had the same thing happen! We were both ghosted after the recruiter led us to believe we were a good fit. If I am not qualified that is fine but leading people on then never even bothering to tell them they didn't get the job is just rude. You need to work on your HR practices. I will not be applying again.
