I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Medtronic (Santa Ana, CA)
Interview
The process began with a simple phone interview regarding relevant work experience. The follow-up in-person interview went into more detail about experiences, with the goal of determining which team and which project I would be the best fit for (if any). Most questions revolved around specific duties that I had performed at previous positions, or specific skills I had learned in previous courses. Questions were straightforward and simple, and the interviewers were friendly and accessible.
I applied online. I interviewed at Medtronic (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2015
Interview
Applied 3 weeks prior to first phone interview online. A friendly lady from HR called me, and we had a 30 minute conversation. It was professional but casual. She got back to me 2 days later to schedule a phone interview with an Engineer. The interview was mostly about my past experience and skills. She asked a few behavioral questions too.
