I applied online. I interviewed at Meraki (New York, NY) in Sep 2017
Interview
Phone interview with recruiter at first, curriculum detailing, small talk, some technical questions (30 min)
Second interview was a technical interview, through Webex. Diagrams on networking. Pointed questions. Interviewer will explain points that are unknown or not answered and give a chance to complete if it rings a bell.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meraki in Jun 2017
Interview
Had a call with the Recruiter. It lasted 15 minutes and then I never heard from her again. I followed up many times, but nothing.
I was referred by an employee, but she took weeks before making the initial call, he had to bug her.
After bugging the recruiter a few times over a couple weeks, I had a technical phone screen.
The guy who interviewed me was extremely apathetic. When I asked him details or complicated topics, he would cut them short with 1 word responses. He didn't seem interested in engaging in a conversation.
The algorithm problems were easy and straight forward but he provided the minimum responses when I asked for further details. It didn't seem like he cared about anything unfortunately.

Interview
Contacted via a Linkedin. Starts with a brief telephone interview with some background and technical questions (40 mins approx.) before progressing on to interviews with existing engineers which are mainly technical and involve some scenarios they ask you to troubleshoot.
The scenarios are relatively easy if you have an existing background in Networks, as you'll have a good idea of what questions to ask in order to narrow down the problem.
Technical questions mostly involve describing network protocols, how they work, and other fundamental concepts. There's little room for error, you'll be expected to more-or-less parrot an exact detailed dictionary definition for each.
