I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Meta (New York, NY) in Nov 2019
Interview
The interview coordinators are friendly and understanding. The two stages of the interview with manager 1 and then manager 2. Manager 1, was late by 10 minutes. He mention the format of the interview but never mentioned that context of stopping me mid-sentence. He was rude and kept interrupting as I was explaining projects in CAR methods, it's similar to STAR by faster. Manager 2, the app critique, the interview coordinator did not share any context of this in the interview prep doc. This manager was just curious how I'd monetize something in my favorite app I used or how would I make it better and why. This part of the interview was much better than with manager 1. I didn't get the selected to move to the next round.
Straightforward like any big tech interview, but long and intense. Formats are pretty standardized so it just takes practice. Questions appear like it's from a bank, so if you're prepared you should be fine.

Interview
I was reached out by a recruiter. Started with the recruiter call, then portfolio presentation, then full loop (Portfolio presentation - app critique - design challenge - background). They had very strong emphasis on design craft and visual excellence. Recruiter who helped me prep was very nice and helpful.
has three rounds, last round is final, they will give u a requirement, you need to redo your deck based on that, at the panel round including app crituqe and whiteboard challenge.
