I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Los Gatos, CA) in Aug 2021
Interview
Initial discussion with a recruiter. He setup two phone interviews. One phone interview was a product sense question and the other was product execution. I got feedback the next day. The only negative experience i had was that their recruitment did not work. I was never able to sign into the portal.

Interview
While it was a 5 star experience, I found it very mechnically.
People were functioning like a robot and no small talk or human touch.
They came, introduced their names, and started off.
First interviewer has a preconception of how he wanted the answer.
Facebook shouts a lot on how they are looking for a structure but this guy literally said "I don't care about your structure or metrics, I want to see what solutions you have"
He upfront rejected my structure when I was sharing my thoughts. Did not allow me to articulate my thoughts and straight jumped to asking questions back to back and kept pushing me back at every stage.
When I was trying to justify my reasons, he started laughing and mocking me by making faces and expressions. That really put my morale down.
It's not about being rejected, but more of how I was treated by the interviewer.
Very very awful experience. Company lives upto their name of making people feel terrible about them.

Interview
Well explained before hand, very good expectation management. I felt that they were genuinely interested in you and want you to succeed in getting a job there. Walked along the way to make sure you understand what to expect.
