Couldn't get past the CV auto-parsing part, it kept messing up the dates, sending me back to the beginning of the process, didn't show which field had an error in it (spoiler: there was no error, just really bad parsing). After the 4th attempt I decided it's not worth it and ended up not applying
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA) in Feb 2022
Interview
The process began by being cold called by a recruiter. Then the recruiter did a screening interview where he told me how great I was and scheduled the next round. The next round was a technical interview with some stragithforward SQL questions and then a case study based on the same premise as the SQL questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
SQL: how to count something. How to use the union function to count something conditional on something else.
Case: How to implement video chat. (SQL was a toy model of chat data)
