I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Meta
Interview
Please do not interview here even if you have all the time in the world or has been out of your job. R4R recruiters and sources are waste. They talk about candidate experience and that’s apparently one of the interview focus as well, but even after multiple follow ups they don’t respond. All they say is your feedback is positive but we closed someone internally or the role went on hold. I’m not sure if this is the script they have ready for all. If they have candidates internally there is no need to open this to the outside world. Even if the candidate requests for explicit feedback or opportunity areas from interviews, they say it’s very positive but we had to close someone internally.
FACEBOOK MANAGEMENT, pls rebuild your R4R team. They are all good for nothing.
I applied online. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA) in May 2020

Email confirmation
After 2 weeks Recruiter phone screen, recruiters won’t respond even if you ping them for next steps, surprised to see such attitude, please put yourself into candidate shoes, really frustrating, felt like withdrawing
After 8 weeks First round interview
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Keep in mind that Recruiters and Talent Acquisition Manager are all caucasians. So if you’re white without an accent, you’ll have high chances of getting hired.
First, their Sourcer reached out to me via email and we had a short phone conversation. Then there were 3 interviews scheduled on the same day, back to back from 11:45am - 1:45pm (not even a break to drink water or grab a bite).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All situation questions and they expect you to answer them with the STAR approach. For example:
Tell me about a time when you had to collaborate with different members of your organization to get something done.
