Microsoft Senior Software Engineer interview questions

- Phone screening. - Microsoft Teams interview with coding, design, and behavioral questions. It was about 5 hours. - Got an offer a couple of weeks after the interviews, but after a lot of negotiation, I accepted the offer, both sides seemed happy. It was a great experience so far, and I was planning to put my notice at work in the next few days. - Then 4 days later they called back indicating that because I live in a "remote area", they wanted to pay me less than other people. I kept trying to negotiate, but they were fixed on that, so rejected the second offer, they attempted a third offer, not as good as the original and I also rejected that one too. I rejected the offer and went with a company that did not care where I lived and offered the market price.
