1 interview. 30 minutes. Talking about myself and some behaviour questions
Then 4 interviews during an afternoon. One interview was behaviour. The other a team session. And the last one technical.
I applied online. I interviewed at Microsoft (San José, ) in Feb 2021
Interview
Very straight forward and good. I had two meetings, one with the team and one with the manager. First interview was very technical and checking the knowledge about the product, they asked very basic to advanced questions. Manager ask a lot of questions regarding how I manage the cases in previous experiences.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Microsoft (Redmond, WA) in Apr 2021
Interview
I applied through Referral and my profile is entirely diversified to the SkillSet. It was a pretty positive experience in the entire interview process.
Call with Recruiter: Brief overview of my professional experience and job roles and responsibilities.
After 2 weeks, she mentioned that I was shortlisted for the next round of interviews . 2 interviews on the same day.
Technical: Troubleshooting skills, API, UI, Network and Process Troubleshooting questions, Questions based on Customer Empathy. They tested my past customer support experiences. Be careful while answering as there will be many follow-up questions. If you can answer all those right then you will be through. So prepare 4-5 good customer-based experience scenarios from your profile.
Behavioural: Hiring Manager and Department Head took my behavioral round and they made me feel comfortable. They got my inputs from the technical panel.
There were questions on Customer focus, dealing with ambiguity, and also about the feedback on the tech panel what I liked and doesn't like in the interview.
I sent Thankyou email to my recruiter the next day and shared my positive experience with panel and requested her to extend my thanks to the entire panel.
She replied that I will get an update within a week or two.
As mentioned, she called me exactly after 2 weeks and said I was through.
The only Key is to Prepare well, BE Honest in all of your answers and discussions as the panel easily identifies who can make up stories.
All the Very Best.
