I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Miro (Amsterdam)
Interview
The interview process was long, but overall worth it. Including the initial call with the recruiter, I had a total of 7 calls. I was unsure at first about whether I'd want to participate in such a lengthy process. But the recruiter did a great job of ensuring me that I'd get to learn a lot along the way — which I do think is important before you commit to any role. They also assured me they would move as quickly as possible, and they really lived up to that promise. The longest interviews were the first call with the hiring manager and the presentation for the assignment (about 45 minutes to 1 hour each). After that, every call was only 30 minutes. It was enough time to get to know each person, but not too long that it would feel draggy. They also followed up with me almost immediately after every interview to let me know whether I'd be moving forward. So I never felt left in the dark. While the lengthy process can be tricky if you're on a tight timeline for your job search, it made me feel even more confident about accepting the offer in the end, because I felt like I had really given the opportunity a lot of thought. Also, my recruiter was really friendly and encouraging, wishing me luck before every interview and answering any questions, which made the process feel continually worth it every step of the way.
