I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Miro in Sep 2021
Interview
Altogether four rounds of online interviews, each 30 minutes long. Initially keen hiring manager ended up refusing to get back to me for weeks after my last interview. Very disrespectful and unprofessional.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Miro
Interview
Overall the interview process was a bit unorganized. It just took a lot of reaching out to my recruiter to get next steps. Management seemed lost and confused in their own process and was not sure what the next proper step would be after a interview. There wasn’t much communication, compared to the other companies I interviewed with (constant check ups to see if I had questions, etc).
Pros:
- Really does seem like they have an exciting culture
- Company is growing a ton (can be viewed as a double edge sword)
- People within seem to move around a lot
Cons:
- Seems like things are constantly moving internally, which is a good thing but also gave me the impression that people weren’t sure what’s going on at time.
- In the demo phase they say they’re primarily looking to see what kind of discovery questions you’d ask. Most of my feedback was based off my personality in the call? So my advice, learn the product (which is against what they suggest) so you can have more to speak about during your demo, to show them how you’d actually hold yourself in a sales call, rather than just asking them questions… which is what discovery is all about.
- Some of the managers were rude during the interview, some would get up in the middle of the interview and clearly stop listening, others would ask you two questions and then just leave (which then makes you just sit there for like 10 minutes until your other interviewer shows up)
Advice: Give your feedback and see if reps would like another go, as it will show coach ability, which is a trait that seemed over looked.

I would suggest read this genuine review and save your time. The process is hay-wired, don't waste your time.
1- HR call
2- Live coding
3- System design
4- Team round
5- Engineering manager
1- Normal HR call, discussion about position and experience.
2- In Live coding round i was asked a very trivial question related to promises, like coding an event loop. I found it pretty easy. Interviewer found no mistake in my solution, so he said, it feels it is not scalable (i asked him to elaborate, and i will show you how it will scale, answer - silence).
3- System design - Asked me to design Miro like real time collaborative white board, this was a very huge problem with many dimensions asked to solve in an hour, interviewers kept on jumping from one thing to another, this is where i felt its complete waste of time.
4- Team round - Talked about past experiences and project.
5- Engineering manager - majorly asked multiple questions of type - Tell me about a time when ...
