The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MuleSoft
Interview
They are the Uncle Rico’s of interviews. Why do they ask college centric questions if you have several years of post-grad experience? Step up to the big leagues & actually have your recruiters read and process resumes- they’re not doing you any favors in selling the corporate culture or day-to-day, if I wanted to answer robotic questions for half an hour I would have dialed a customer service line.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at MuleSoft (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2017
Interview
I applied through an employee referral. Whole process took approximately 2 months. The interviews and presentation portion of the process took approximately 3 - 4 weeks. After the interviews and presentation were over, HR informed me that I had secured the job. HR said they were now going through a formal process of approval.
Throughout this time period, I turned down 2 good offers that I received from other companies because I was reassured by Mulesoft that I had the job.
After being reassured consistently that I had the job, I was finally told one day that they were not moving forward with me. I feel that I have been lied to and deceived. I also feel Mulesoft has been very inconsiderate of my time, quite literally wasting it.
As a side note, even if I had received an offer I would still consider this process as an overall negative experience. This is primarily due to the time frame and lack of communication from the company.
I sincerely apologize for the experience you had interviewing with us. It does not reflect our best efforts or intentions, and we are better than that. I would appreciate the opportunity to talk with you 1:1 and help remedy this however I can. Thank you for your feedback and pushing us to improve.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at MuleSoft (Pittsburgh, PA) in Sep 2017
Interview
On campus interview. Talk about resume projects and intern first. Then did an algorithm coding on paper about linked list. There were also some basic java questions, like the difference between hashmap and hashset.
